Want To Join Warehouse?

I was responsible for leading the digital design and UI/UX for Warehouse across all platforms. One of the most recent projects I worked on was the redesign of the careers page. This was a comprehensive project that started with creating wireframes to map out the user journey, all the way through to the high-fidelity designs.

The current careers page merged head office and retail information all on one page. This was proving to be an unsuccessful user experience and lead to a lot of misunderstanding on the working environment and benefits of working in either Head Office or Retail.

In order to improve the user experience and ultimately, maximise candidate applications I decided to create a main page which gave a brief history of the brand, followed by sub-pages that would provide in-depth detail on Head Office/Retail life. I used campaign imagery in the header to inspire the user - this would be updated seasonally so that content was consistent around the site.

So the user had a broader awareness of team structure, I created a section that would provide a brief description on departments and roles. I designed a simple role-over effect so that the description would appear on hover.
